Delicate yet Stunning

Natalie and her mum came to see me some time ago and from the minute we chatted, both her mum and I joked about Natalie's champagne taste in all things floral....  Hey, but I tell you, the girl had a vision and after a long day of preperation yesterday and a day of logistics and set up today, her vision became a reality and boy am I glad that girl had taste.

Natalie knew what she wanted, (in a completely lovely way).  I just hope that we managed to capture that vision in the designs we created below.  We got pictures of the civil room in the great hall in Peckforton Castle and pictures of the bridal flowers but because of the dual use of floral displays, we were unable to get pictures of the actual reception room.... hint hint Natalie and family!!!

So, without further ado, lets look at the pictures.  As usual, any feedback is gratefully received and Natalie, thanks for letting us be part of your big day.  Ps, your Mum's hat/fascinator looked fab today.. I bet you looked gorgeous too.

Lots of love Paula xxx

Natalies bouquet had Sweet Avalanche Roses, Spray Roses and Avalanche Roses

Heaven Roses in simple dome were designed for the bridesmaids.

And for the groom, a mixture of blooms from the bridal bouquet.

And, the groomsmen matched the bridesmaids, as they should.

The Mum chose to be in pinks too just like Natalie and this is her corsage.

The great hall, fabric swagging, archway and chair covers gave the basis for this room and with the addition of the candleabra designs, and some foliage swagging and fairy lights, the room was complete.  The devil is in the detail, don't you think?

The archway was fresh with roses, spray roses, hyrdrangea, gypsophelia and other filler flowers.  Truly stunning, espeically in "real life".

That's all for now folks, until Natalie and family send me some pics of the reception room at which point we will gladly share those too... xx

The lovely bride Julie

How it all happened.....

Julie and her mum wandered into our shop one day, right in the middle of two bridal consultations.  We started chatting and we had one of the quickest consultations I have ever done in my life..

And after a second (proper) consultation, we had sorted the bridal bouquet and matching bridesmaid wand, grooms buttonhole and matching groomsmen and all the table centres and top table designs.  Julie also had a church full of flowers which unfortunately we did not manage to snap a good picture of...

Anyway, onto the designs.

Julie had a bridal bouquet of ivory roses with burgandy spray roses... wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.

and a close up of the actual flowers..... that's what it is all about for us.

To match Julie's bouquet, but not take over it, we did an adult wand with long stems and a smaller head.  The same flowers were used.

The red rose buttonhole...

and the ivory buttonhole for the groomsmen...

And for the Mum, a corsage with spray roses and diamante.

And for the tables Julie chose our martini glasses with Avalanche roses and a splash of burgandy spray carnation.

Julie chose, from our wide range of scatters, Burgandy silk petals and clear diamantes.

Julie and Mathew, all the very best for the future.  Thank you so much for letting us be part of your day and let all your problems be little ones..... ;)

Julie and Natasha

For Julie and Natasha, they wanted Purple...

Nothing to big, just some nice roses to compliment her dress and some table centres to make the room look nice.  Unfortunately, we could not get a picture of the final room as they had their civil ceremony in the same room... but you can get an idea for the bridal designs..

Natasha's adult wand that had Ocean Song Lilac Roses, Purple Veronica and Purple Lisianthus and was wrapped with a deep purple satin ribbon.

For the bridesmaids, an Avalanche Rose Adult Wand, with Purple Lisianthus and Purple Veronica.

Natasha's buttonhole (sorry about the really naff picture)

And, the chair covers that we did for their civil room.

We hope you have a long and happy life together and thanks very much for choosing us to do your flowers for your big day.... lots of love Paula xx
