Delicate yet Stunning

Natalie and her mum came to see me some time ago and from the minute we chatted, both her mum and I joked about Natalie's champagne taste in all things floral....  Hey, but I tell you, the girl had a vision and after a long day of preperation yesterday and a day of logistics and set up today, her vision became a reality and boy am I glad that girl had taste.

Natalie knew what she wanted, (in a completely lovely way).  I just hope that we managed to capture that vision in the designs we created below.  We got pictures of the civil room in the great hall in Peckforton Castle and pictures of the bridal flowers but because of the dual use of floral displays, we were unable to get pictures of the actual reception room.... hint hint Natalie and family!!!

So, without further ado, lets look at the pictures.  As usual, any feedback is gratefully received and Natalie, thanks for letting us be part of your big day.  Ps, your Mum's hat/fascinator looked fab today.. I bet you looked gorgeous too.

Lots of love Paula xxx

Natalies bouquet had Sweet Avalanche Roses, Spray Roses and Avalanche Roses

Heaven Roses in simple dome were designed for the bridesmaids.

And for the groom, a mixture of blooms from the bridal bouquet.

And, the groomsmen matched the bridesmaids, as they should.

The Mum chose to be in pinks too just like Natalie and this is her corsage.

The great hall, fabric swagging, archway and chair covers gave the basis for this room and with the addition of the candleabra designs, and some foliage swagging and fairy lights, the room was complete.  The devil is in the detail, don't you think?

The archway was fresh with roses, spray roses, hyrdrangea, gypsophelia and other filler flowers.  Truly stunning, espeically in "real life".

That's all for now folks, until Natalie and family send me some pics of the reception room at which point we will gladly share those too... xx

The Blackpool Themed Wedding in Haydock

When Katie came to see me and told me she had a blackpool theme, I thought oh my god, how can we do that with flowers.  But then, when she told me her colours, I have never been so excited.

Katie described the the love story behind the blackpool theme as "a bit embarrasing", I call it romance encaptulated..... a true fairytale, the perfect idea.

Mixing up certain colour pallets really can provide you with such a wonderful impact on your wedding day.

And, I am not the only one who liked it, Katie's wedding is going to be featured in a well known wedding magazine....  watch this space!

GREEN - PURPLE - BROWN - PINK

This is what we came up with......  Congratulations Katie and thanks for letting us be part of this journey with you.

A shower bouquet with a mixture of Amnesia Roses, Lisisanthus and Spray Roses.

For the pink bridesmaid......

For the green bridesmaid.....

For the purple bridesmaid........

And for the flowergirl..... a mix of all the colours!

For the groom.

The pink tables had pink candleabra...

The purple tables had purple candleabra....

And yes, you guessed it the green table had green candleabra.

The top table was swagged with voil and organza.

Above and below, look at how good all the colours looked together.  The bunting and all the other decorations that Katie chose looked fab.

Congratulations to you both, now all we need is a picture of the bride modelling the bouquet.

I am sure you all had fun, how could you not.
