The Spring Bouquet

The Spring Bouquet

So, spring bouquets are so popular at the moment and Lynne was right ahead of the curve when choosing hers...

Together, we searched through several varieties to ensure that Lynne's vision of colour and spring like design was encapsulated.

I believe her words were when she seen her bouquet were, "that is the perfect colour scheme I wanted".... or words to that effect.

Anyway, here are some pictures.... enjoy

And, Lynne, you were a diamond to deal with, hope you got lots of quirky shots in the snow!!

Lynne's bouquet of spring flowers that had over seven varieties of flowers in.

And for the Mum, a corsage of green Lisianthus.

Wrist corsages for the bridesmaids of spring flowers..

The groomsmen buttonholes of ranunculous, a smaller type of buttonhole but effective just the same.

A combslide of spring flowers for the bridesmaids..

Thank you for choosing us, I know i say this all the time but we do know that brides have a choice out there, so when they choose us, it makes our day..

Take care and many congrats..

Jenny and Danny featuring Orange and Purple

Jenny and Danny

Back into weddings this year with an orange and purple colour theme.

Jenny chose some lovely flowers to compliment her scheme with Gerbera, Lisianthus and tulips.  And what a lovely bride she was to deal with.... and she looked fabulous in her dress.  However, when I seen this picture below on Facebook - I "virtually" told her off and got word to her via social media to put the bouquet in water, so be warned all you brides - I have eyes out there ha ha....

I was assured the said thirsty bouquet was put in water not long after my request, that made me smile.

Anyway, I hope they had a fabulous day, it really was a pleasure dealing with Jenny and her Mum.

Congratulations and thanks for choosing us to do your flowers, we really do appreciate it...

Now for the pictures....

Jenny's bouquet of orange Gerbera, purple Lisianthus and purple Tulips.

And then the bridesmaid's handtied bouquets of orange Gerbera, foliage and edged in rolled leaves.

Enjoy married life and take care....

The lovely Tamsin and Mike

When planning her wedding and ultimately her flowers, Tamsin was what I would call a very very laid back bride... Don't get me wrong, she had a vision, but she let us advise her freely how to get that look that she wanted.

And, dare I say - she was the perfect bride from start to finish.  From the minute she walked in she was giddy with her plans but laid back in her approach and that, my friends, makes a florist's life very very easy.  I can't tell you how relaxed I was doing Tamsin's flowers..... which in my experience usually makes for very natural and perfect looking designs.  Being tense does nothing for creativity...

And, being the perfect bride, she even emailed me over some photos like she promised (Hint Hint to those of you who have not sent me pics yet - I will hunt you down ;) ).... after the event.

So, here is what she looked like, perfection and that smile that she wears compliments her dress, her flowers and personality.  She really is beautiful on the inside and the out...

Thank you Tamsin for walking in our shop that day, and deciding there and then that you wanted us to do your flowers, I am so glad you did.

Now for the pics....

The shower bouquet was made up of Avalanche Roses, Freesia, Lisianthus and Spray Roses.

A smaller complimentary bouquet for the bridesmaids.

Tamsin on her way to the ceremony.

The bridesmaids look gorgeous don't they?

The room by day....

And then making the most of their table centres and chair covers by night..

And the lovely couple.... Tamsin and Mike, don't they look like they are just in love?

Lots of love
