Natalie and her mum came to see me some time ago and from the minute we chatted, both her mum and I joked about Natalie's champagne taste in all things floral.... Hey, but I tell you, the girl had a vision and after a long day of preperation yesterday and a day of logistics and set up today, her vision became a reality and boy am I glad that girl had taste.
Natalie knew what she wanted, (in a completely lovely way). I just hope that we managed to capture that vision in the designs we created below. We got pictures of the civil room in the great hall in Peckforton Castle and pictures of the bridal flowers but because of the dual use of floral displays, we were unable to get pictures of the actual reception room.... hint hint Natalie and family!!!
So, without further ado, lets look at the pictures. As usual, any feedback is gratefully received and Natalie, thanks for letting us be part of your big day. Ps, your Mum's hat/fascinator looked fab today.. I bet you looked gorgeous too.
Lots of love Paula xxx
Natalies bouquet had Sweet Avalanche Roses, Spray Roses and Avalanche Roses
Heaven Roses in simple dome were designed for the bridesmaids.
And for the groom, a mixture of blooms from the bridal bouquet.
And, the groomsmen matched the bridesmaids, as they should.
The Mum chose to be in pinks too just like Natalie and this is her corsage.
The great hall, fabric swagging, archway and chair covers gave the basis for this room and with the addition of the candleabra designs, and some foliage swagging and fairy lights, the room was complete. The devil is in the detail, don't you think?
The archway was fresh with roses, spray roses, hyrdrangea, gypsophelia and other filler flowers. Truly stunning, espeically in "real life".
That's all for now folks, until Natalie and family send me some pics of the reception room at which point we will gladly share those too... xx
