The Thailand bride in Widnes who loved Purple Orchids

When Cholloda and Craig came to me only six weeks ago, they said Deep Purple and Orchids.  They were happy for me to advise on the rest and after a couple of chats this is what we came up with.  They wanted to bring in some oriental influence for their Widnes Wedding.

In the Bridge Suite in The Stobbart Stadium, Widnes, Cholloda and Craig held their wedding reception.  We hope you liked your bridal flowers and your venue decoration.....

The Bridal Bouquet, designed with Purple Dendrobian Orchids, Avalanche Roses and tropical foliage.

The Table Centre, filled with Purple Dendrobrian, Fatsia, and Aspidistra..... lovely Thai influence.

The Bridge Suite, Stobbart Stadium Widnes.  It really does scrub up well....  and the staff, we have to say are amongst some of the nicest and most professional we deal with..

A Top Table filled with our popular Dendrobrian Whirls.... accompanied by diamanate table scatters and purple confetti.

Thanks for choosing us guys, we hope we did you pride.  Congratulations and all the best...

The Yellow Tulips

To say this bouquet was a challenge would be an understatement.  Tulips, by nature have a mind of their own and blow open at any opportunity so it took some great thought and research before I agreed that we could create this one.  I wont ever commit to making someone's dream bouquet unless I am sure that I can execute it with perfection.

That is what we had to do when local bride from Widnes, Michaela, came in and showed us her dream bridal flowers.

Anyway, that is where our team of qualified florists came in and with lots of chat and international research, no less, we were able to make Michaela's bouquet (using a few tricks of the trade).

We loved the finished article and we know Michaela did....

Do you??

ps... really sorry about the sideway picture (could not get it to rotate no matter how hard I tried).

That is all the pics I have on this one....  sorry it's short and sweet.

Alison and Tony at Statham Lodge, Lymm

Well what can I say.  Alison made some fabulous choices and it took us a while to decide on the final designs but I think they were well worth the wait.

I seen Alison the day before her wedding when she called into the shop and I have to say I have never seen a bride SO SO excited.  It was lovely and it really put us all in a really nice mood in the shop.  I think this was felt in the designs as we felt so relaxed....  We were that confident she would like the stuff, we banned her from seeing it before it was all set out!!    (Well, I gave in at one point and said she could have a sneaky peak but I think she was that excited she wanted to wait.)

Alison and Tony, from the bottom of my heart I am so glad we did your wedding flowers and that you chose us.  You are one of the most bubbliest people I have ever met and Alison,  you are definately a woman after my own heart ;)...

Huge Congratulations, I wish you a long and happy life together.

Have a wonderful honeymoon and hope you are both feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world when you get back!!

Anyway, here is some of the designs we did for Alison and Tony..

A collection of the flowers chosen include Sweet Avalanche Roses, Aqua Roses, Stock, Chameloceum, Mimi Eden Spray Roses.

The Bridal Bouquet

We decided as always that the bridesmaids bouquet should compliment the bouquet but not be totally like it.  We used similar flowers but in slightly different colours.  The cerise rose we chosen was a great colour.

And, a little wand to give to the flowergirl...

And for Tony, a buttonhole with an Aqua Rose.

And for his groomsmen, a Cerise Rose.

Alison chose our mirrored cubes, with a mixed design of roses, lisianthus and pink gypsophelia.

A top table design of roses. lisianthus, waxflower and mixed flowers.

And below, a few of the room in Statham Lodge, Lymm, Warrington.

Alison's table plan... sorry about the lack of detail in the picture but in "real life" it looked really cool we think.

The matching menu.

With love, exhaustion, and lots and lots of best wishes..... Paula xx

My Lovely Lillian and Norman.....

If you ever have the pleasure to meet this couple you would fall in love with them immediately.... and I really mean that.  They found each other later in life and I swear you can tell they are so madly in love, it's untrue!!

Lillian and Norman....  what a couple.  Every time they came into the shop I got a lovely kiss goodbye from her and a really warm smile from him.  I was really priviledged to do their wedding and that comes from the bottom of my heart.

Silly old me actually forgot my camera for the silk bouquets we did (waiting for them to come in and give me pics though).

But we did get some lovely shots from The Birchfield Club in Widnes and I just thought I would share them for any future brides.  Spoke to Tony as well and if the smell of the food from the kitchen was anything to go by, the food was certainly set to please a few people.

Lillian and Norman.... love ya!!

Hope you had a lovely day and hope you have a lovely life together.  You truly deserve it. :)

The Top Table consisted of three posy designs with ivory and purple flowers.

Wedding Flowers and The Hillcrest Hotel, Widnes

Clare and Alan put 100% into organising their wedding.   From their chair covers to table centres to table swagging and bridal bouquets, they trusted us with it all.  Clare chose an aubergine colour that we complimented with white calla lily, purple lisianthus, freesia and orchids.

Check out the flower decoration in The Hillcrest Hotel, Widnes.  We think we did ok... do you?

A selection of purple lisianthus, white freesia, white avalanche and orchids.

And the bridal bouquet with all of the flowers chosen.

An adult wand for the bridesmaids to compliment the brides bouquet.

The centrepiece, one of our many vases we have for hire, the large martini glass with a fresh floral design inside.

The Bride and Groom also made some other great choices, these ice sculptures were fab!!

The top table was swagged with organza and roses.

And we wouldn't want to leave the cake table out.  We decorated both the flower stand and table to match the other designs.

Thank you Clare and Alan for choosing us.....  we hope you had a great day and look forward to getting lots of pics from you.
